This round table event examines the increasing urgency for Australia to find new pathways to economic growth and sustainable prosperity.

Professor Mike Aitken stated “The Universities’ claim to commercialisation success finds voice in the CRC program. The CMCRC is a striking example of that success having established three spins-off of its own as well as an investment fund set up from commercial returns which has in turn invested in three start-ups to date.“

B/HERT’s round table programme is a forum for dialogue and engagement between universities, business, government and community partners to promote effective and productive working relationships across the sectors.

The event was held in association with the Business/Higher Education Round Table, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and Macquarie University.
