CMCRC: ETF MARKET QUALITY IMPROVED UNDER ASX SCHEME

ETF Daily News reports on a CMCRC study of the ETF Market Making Scheme, a controversial scheme to give rebates to market makers which was introduced in 2010 at the ASX. We found that trading activity and market efficiency in the Australian ETF market, which is approaching $7B, have improved following the scheme’s introduction.
