Speaker: Hilary Cinis, Data61

Abstract: Hilary Cinis is the Principal User Experience and Design Team Lead at Data61. She heads up a team of designers working on emerging technology projects that involve large amounts of private and public data. These projects are mainly concerned with improving decision making with data for social and business impacts. Her team view these projects through the lens of the people interacting with data via these proposed technologies, using qualitative means to understand behaviour and needs. This talk is part insights gathered, part methods used and part questions still to be answered.
