CMCRC PHD STUDENT PRESENTS AT WENNBERG INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATIVE POLICY MEETING

The CMCRC Health student presented his work at the “Better Smarter Care Reducing Unwarrented Variation” held in Melbourne on 3-4 May 2017.
Ludovico Pinzari, CMCRC researcher working as part of an industry partnership with the AIHW (Australian Institute of Health and Welfare), said “the scope of the project undertaken is the development of methods and geo-spatial software tools for use in reporting on the performance of primary care.” The principal purpose is to offer a suite of classification and clustering tools for use in the analysis of health data. The two-day event brought together international leading expert, policy-makers and researchers to present best practice approaches focused on measuring, reporting and responding to healthcare variation. Ludovico is a PhD student at the Translational Health Research Institute of Western Sydney University.
