THE IMPORTANCE AND COMPLEXITY OF PROPERTY DATA IN THE AUSTRALIAN ECONOMY
Speaker: Kyle Evans, Corelogic RP Data Asia
Seminar Date: Tuesday June 28 2016, 12.00pm
Abstract: Residential property data in Australian is valued at $6.5 Trillion making it a clearly the largest asset class in the nation. Yet despite Australian’s fascination with this asset class and the economy’s dependence on it for prosperity there is a disproportional amount of data available for analysis of this asset class compared to others. In this session Kyle Evans, Chief Data and Analytics Officer for CoreLogic International will provide an overview of the data assets managed by his market leading organisation and also provide some insight into the challenges of identifying, collecting and maintaining relevant data sets.
